If I could change one thing in the world, it would be:	reversing the population growth rate on a worldwide scale - if we could even get back to population levels of 100 years ago, it might help save the planet a bit longer. But, failing that goal it would be great to get all lights shut off in empty parking lots and unused office buildings (those should all be on motion sensors and timers!). And billboards - I would ban all video billboards.
I think the most important environmental issue is:	waste & pollution
The greenest thing I do is:	I try every day to incorporate a "green"attitude into everything I do. I carpool in the morning, public transpo in the evening. I recycle, compost and grow my own food. I turn off lights everywhere I see they are not in use.
Why am I passionate about being green?	This planet has been around for a very long time - it would be tragic and a waste if it is wreaked by the latest arrivals (humans).
About Me	I'm vegan for three reasons: compassion animals, concern for the planet, and health. I make smart decisions about my organic produce purchases (conventional avocados from California are better than organic avocados from Chile) and always buy organic food. I avoid plastic packaging and recycle or compost 95% of my waste. My trash can basically contains cat poop & nonrecyclable plastics.
