About Me

I am employed for a University and am currently working on an eco-friendly home/farmstead. We hope to use technology to conserve energy and create a sustainable farmstead.

Favorite green websites/publications:

Mother Earth News, Natural Home, Innovative Home, www.motherearthnews.com, www.gdiapers.com

Favorite non-profit organization

Habitat for Hunanity-they offer resale stores which sales products at a discounted price, therefore saving money, recycling, and helping out the community.

If I could change one thing in the world, it would be:

I would make renewable energy the common standard.

I think the most important environmental issue is:

Renewable Energy

The greenest thing I do is:

Recycle, use all natural products, and promote renewable energy

What does "sustainability" mean to me:

Sustainabily in its essence is living off of the land while treading softly so that our future generations will have the beautiful world that we do.

Why am I passionate about being green?

While I do not have any children yet, I do want some eventually. I want to be green in order to preserve the planet for my future children.
