|The greenest thing I do is:
||Recycle; leave unnecessary appliances off; sustainable light bulbs; TRY to buy what I can organic; recycle clothing; working on using less of everything (ie., toilet paper, toothpaste, etc.)
|What does "sustainability" mean to me:
||I guess, at this point, I'd say that for me "sustainability" essentially means doing my best. I don't mean that as a cop out. I mean asking questions, reading labels, researching when I can, and being mindful of my consumption in general.
|Why am I passionate about being green?
||I love my planet and care about my heath. I'm disheartened that so many companies don't think twice about what kind of harmful chemicals they put into our products, and that so many of these products are linked to terminal illnesses and harm animals and the earth in the long run.
I just want to do what I can.
||I'm a student entering my final year of my undergrad. I want to use this site to aid my decisions in purchasing products; I'd like to make the most informed decisions possible, but I'm finding it overwhelming and confusing. Looking at labels, I often don't know what the ingredients even ARE. So, I'm hoping to learn from other health and earth-conscious consume who have tried and tested products.
