If I could change one thing in the world, it would be:	Have a microchip in every person's head which makes it imperative for them to consider the environment and social justice before buying, using, and throwing away.
I think the most important environmental issue is:	Trash
The greenest thing I do is:	Oh so many things--dual flush toilets, compost, hybrid car, unplug when not using, recycle, no plastic trash can liners, don't buy what I don't need.
What does "sustainability" mean to me:	That which does not take ever increasing amounts of resources
Why am I passionate about being green?	Since the early 1970s when I was hauling my cans, glass, and newspapers in my VW mini-van to the local recycling center (much before curbside recycling) I have felt passionate about trash making and what I can do to decrease my own. Envrionmental stewardship. I continutally ask myself what else I can do to decrease my consumption of resources.
About Me	In 2005 I volunteered with Doctors Without Borders for a medical mission to the Darfur Region of the Sudan. When I arrived I saw hanging on every bush and tree branch shreds of plastic bags. "Is this the legacy the Western World has brought to a poor country like this?" I asked myself. As a result I started my reusable produce bag business to help decrease plastic bags in this world.
