About Me

Looking forward to retirement and traveling to various parts of the world to enjoy the people and wonders of nature. I have been fortunate to have visited Brazil, China, Mexico, Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, Cuba, Sweden, Great Britain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, and many of the United States. I love to travel & have been blessed to be employed as a motor coach driver.

Favorite green websites/publications:

The Midwest Renewable Energy Association

Favorite non-profit organization

Ventures In People; One Laptop per child (OLPC)

If I could change one thing in the world, it would be:

Provide equal educational opportunites for all children around the world

I think the most important environmental issue is:

Loss of topsoil and deforestation.

The greenest thing I do is:

Drive an all electric vehicle to work daily.

What does "sustainability" mean to me:

Using no more energy than absolutely necessary to achieve the task at hand.

Why am I passionate about being green?

Way too many resources are taken for granted in our country and wasted daily. There are many people in areas of our world who do not have access to fresh water, clean air or the mobility options we enjoy.
