So much of the concerns about our environment come down to the bottom line - climate change. I was in Slidel (near New Orleans) 3 weeks after Katrina using a chain saw to help clear people's homes of fallen trees... trying to salvage what was left of their flooded belongings inside their homes... If more storms of this strength make landfall in the future...wow. |

Lead an increasingly more energy efficient, sustainable lifestyle as an example to family, friends, and neighbors. By showing others that it can be done with a little effort and a determined attitude. |
| Why am I passionate about being green? |
I grew up in the LA area - it is a sea of concrete, cars, malls, jumbo jets, and consumption. Anyone who opens their eyes can see that this simply is not sustainable... I have always been concerned about our environment. Armed now with more green resources and a growing knowledge of "how" I am making an effort to make this Earth a better place for my children and their generation. |
