I try to be economical and efficient - using non disposable items in the house, avoiding harsh chemicals, walk/bicycle when I can, etc... I try to learn a little every day! |

Sustainability - collective efforts that will never result in depletion of mother earth. |
| Why am I passionate about being green? |
Because there would be fewer health and ecological problems if we were green from the get-go. I grew up in a town that possessed one of the most polluted sites in the world - Alcyon Lake in Pitman, NJ. I've seen deformed animals, fish, and - cancer patients too! Growing up a mile away from the antithesis of "green" showed me the reality and importance of caring for our environment. |
