I just donated a bundle of Magazines to our local Children’s Hospital that specializes in burns and treats adults. I have a friend who had to stay their and while they did an awesome job she said it was a children’s hospital and they did not have much to read for adults.   I wish I would have seen this the day before I could of put a bow on the bundle.

Thanks for the great idea.

Wow, that's great they accept magazines!  I'd heard of different organizations accepting book donations but never magazines.  I have a stack in my room of music and photography magazines but I think one would be plenty to make bows with.

This is a great idea!  I've been trying to brainstorm ideas for giftwrapping this season (meaning ways to not use anything that isn't recycled or reusable).  My younger cousins always love the bows the best so this is a great way to keep the packages looking beautiful but without the cost of buying bows or the added waste!

But here's a question...what about after the bow is made and used?  Can it still be recycled?  Or does the paper need to be flat for recycle centers to take it?
