I have a family member that burns everything! plastic, newspapers,etc. I believe it's damaging to our environment. I know I won't be able to change her mind. Does anybody know someone like this? I try to lead by example and hope it rubs off. Trying to discuss the issue only leads to bad feelings.
One thing I've started doing is give "green" gifts. I think that sends a message. Maybe just one person will start doing the same. That would be a step -- a baby step in the right direction.
