Hm, I wish I could help you out!  I'll keep thinking about where you might check.

Jacobs WInd turbines are the best you can buy, but you just have to make sure its a Jacobs and not a cheap knock off. The way you know is by the tail fin or you have REPCO install it.

Also if you need a used one, they are hard to find, I could find you a new one and set up a finance that wouldn't break the bank

Where did you originally purchase the machine? I just want to make sure that the source or manufacturer has a good reputation and it's not a nock-off.

To avoid a knock-off get the serial # off the head unit and any on the inverter and go to http://www.windturbine.net it is wind turbine industries website and has contact info.  You should be able to contact them to check if it is a real jacobs.  Also be careful of any turbine that is being sold as rebuilt, they are sometimes just a paint job for the rebuild.  Back to the origional question.  I did a lot of looking before I bought a new one and had no luck finding a used one that was worth the money.  I only know about the 20kw; it is a heavy duty turbine, the WTIC angle iron tower is heavy duty and all of the predrilled holes were in the right spots, I did not have to oval out a single hole.  I have heard of some people having problems with some of the imported (China) turbines.  The supplier never makes the delivery and just disappears.
