I had the hilarious pleasure of catching the Raging Grannies at the EV Rally in Palo Alto over the weekend. The creativity and passion was very cool to see. I caught videos of two of their custom written global warming jams:
First up was Got Gas? sung to the tune of the Marine Corps Hymn (lyrics below):
Got Gas
From Kuwait and Venezuela
The Arabian and Caspian Seas
We will pump out all the planet's oil
Just to fuel our SUVs
We can get 10 miles per gallon
As we guzzle gasoline
Since we'll always need a lot more oil
We'll just call out the Marines
We will pave the way for Texaco
For Chevron Arco too
And Exxon Shell and Amoco
But the cost is paid by YOU!
And some foreigners will lose their lives
As their cities we invade
But we'll get gas for our guzzling cars
From the enemies we've made!
