Something helpful if you want to try out 7th generation products is to go to their website http://www.seventhgeneration.com/

and go to contact us then to the email form http://seventhgeneration.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/seventhgeneration.cfg/php/enduser/ask.php

and tell them that you are interested in trying their products and were wondering if they had any coupons they could send to you. be specific if you have a baby and they will send along extra coupons for diapers and wipes.

that is on top of the coupons you can print out on their website. http://www.seventhgeneration.com/coupons

I had been expecting 'tips' not blatant promotion/product placement. I couldn't find a 'report as spam' option so am noting my displeasure here.

I'm sorry you didn't like the list. I thought I made the name of it very clear that this was a freebie, coupon and budget helpers list of things I have used and wanted to share. I'm sorry you feel that is 'spam' although i'm not really sure how that is so since I have no personal reason to back any of these except for my own blog about budgeting and being green. Spam is normally promoting something you have a vested interest in. So that is the only on that could even remotely be labeled spam.

I woud assume my warning about how long the list of freebies, coupons, and budget helpers would be a tip that this was a variable list of different links and products and helpful sites. It's your right not to like it. But I know that I don't have a ton of extra money so freebies are a nice way to try things and the sites like freecycle that I listed are great for recycling, reducing and reusing. Ppgazzette is great for finding out about deals and the coupon links to 7th generation and earth's best and organic valley are awesome for my budget. These are my tips on sites to help out those who need it. I'm sorry you don't appreciate them, but I'm unsure how that's spam to share them. If this is spam then sharing a link to anywhere becomes spam, and that's a pretty rediculous notion.

And I'm not going to lie this kinda makes me mad. I was trying to be nice by putting these up since I know that we live off a pretty tight budget and I would have loved for someone to pass these along to me like this and appreciated it. It makes me angry for someone to be so rude when I was trying to be nice and help others out. I thought I made it very clear with the title that these were freebies and budget helping sites (coupon links, gazzette shows when things are on sale in your area, ect...) I'm not really sure what other kind of tips you could have been expecting. Nor do I see how this is spam since I obviously don't have a vested interest in the sites, other then that they have been helpful to me. I get nothing whether you use them or not, and frankly don't care if you do. I was trying to help you out and you were very rude.

Well, I for one think this is a pretty sweet list!  Thanks so much, KayMMIV!  While I (of course) adore my job at Huddler, we're not quite rolling in the money yet so coupons and free stuff is always appreciated.

Freecycle is a great recommendation for folks who haven't heard of it.  There's also a new organization (which I don't have personal experience with myself but their website looks pretty nice) called The Staga Network which falls along the same lines.  It's similar in that folks in neighborhoods can give away stuff instead of sending it straight to the landfill.  They don't have tons of folks registered yet (I think their largest community has 19 people in it) but it'll be great to watch them grow.
