reply ajax box re-positioning on scroll...

This is minor but is there a way to not have the AJAX reply box re-center itself when you scroll the page?

I like to move mine off to the side so I can read people's posts that I'm replying to. Then I scroll up or down a bit and it moves back to the center.

Like I said, a minor issue, feel free to ignore this.

Yeah...I can see why that would be annoying.  The thinking is to prevent people from 'losing' the reply box when scrolling up and down a thread.  We're planning on moving to a fixed reply box, probably fixed to the bottom of the browser window.  What would you prefer?  We're completely open to whatever people think would be the best solution.  Do you like being able to drag/drop the box?

Thanks for the feedback, we really appreciate it.  Please keep it coming.

I think the best solution would be to have a fixed reply box at the bottom of the page while still being able to scroll through the topic on the rest of the page.

I agree with Dana.

Another nice forum feature would be the ability to list the threads that have been updated since your last visit.

Yeah, or at least if the bottom box with the recent discussions/reviews/wikis were expandable.

We're working on the reply box being fixed to the bottom of the page.  Of course we're fighting through some browser compatibility issues (friggin' Internet Explorer 6...if you're using it, please, please, please upgrade to 7.  Or better yet, get Firefox).

As for the list of recent discussions, you should check out the Live Feed

You can just click on any of the tabs to see what's been updated.  In the next revision of the software, we'll be providing direct links from the footer to the Feed.  Right now, the link is on the homepage.

Thanks again for all the great feedback.  Let me know if you have any other ideas.
