Romney speech - quite a sad comment

No matter how you are voting this fall, if you have any respect for science and even the possibility that climate change is occuring you had to be disappointed with the cheers Mr. Romney got when he poked fun at President Obama for caring about global warming.  His line about how the president cares too much ocean levels got a huge applause.  Even some of my fiscally conservative friends are waking up to the fact that global warming is not just about protecting nature, but is something that could actually cost our economy billions of dollars.

At what point will those who are currently minimizing this problem and making fun of it realize that there are economic consequences of the type that they are usually quite concerned about?

It truly is depressing... The far far right, which gets HUGE amounts of money from oil companies and auto companies has managed to trick much of America that this issue doesn't exist. People don't spend any time at all considering where the money comes from and end up believing complete lies... As long as money has this much of an impact on American policy its only going to get worse before it becomes too late to get better.
