I came across this news and found it very interesting and hope you will also like it. If few more such people come forward then our eco problems can be solved.
"Gilbert's all-volunteer Environmental and Energy Conservation Advisory Board has been in existence for about 18 months, and it has already provided guidance to the town's efforts to become greener.
It has supported creation of the dog-waste digester at Cosmo Dog Park; placed recycling bins in the town's parks to catch the water bottles that would otherwise be thrown in the garbage; helped increase recycling in apartment complexes; and monitored the building of Fire Station No. 10 and guided it to apply for LEED gold certification rather than silver.
