I am new here, and the search doesn't work well for helping me out.
I have a question about water safe soaps/shampoo's. I am looking for a product that is safe for a lake/river. I am hosting a camping trip for about 35 people and the shower we will all be using is pumped and returned to the lake (primitive site so no access to showers with better draining).
I know the leave no trace rule of thumb is 200 ft from the water, but this isn't an option. Do you know of a product that can help me and more importantly mother nature? I know if I don't offer a better choice my fellow campers will be reaching for the normal soaps to use. And sadly it is not an option to not have a shower there or to move it away from the edge of the water (will be sitting about 20' from the edge).
