I bought a juicer earlier this year to help with triathlon training/ performance. At first I figured it'd be a disgusting slime that I'd have to choke down. Little did I suspect that homemade juice can be delicious! I run a Breville juicer and stick with what I call "juice-able" fruits - oranges, apples, carrots, strawberries. It took some time to dial in a good, healthy recipe. Lately I've been rolling with this - 2 large carrots, 2 mandarin oranges, 1 apple, 3-5 strawberries.
Probably the most positive result of the juicing is a feeling of satisfaction that lasts several hours. No munchies, no hunger, just solid, steady energy!
