Insulation can be customized easily by adding thicker spray foam and other such insulations. Where are you from if I may ask?

There is a lot that may interest you - Arizona State U has a school of sustainability that has been going strong.  I am going to list several sites that have information about Arizona activity -

That sort of brings something to mind - - improving insulation is recommended for energy conservation.  What is truly "green" insulation material?
