Hey,

What a terrific idea - what kind of insulation do you think would work in a variety of climates?

Insulation can be customized easily by adding thicker spray foam and other such insulations. Where are you from if I may ask?

Yes you may - I live in Arizona with very different climate depending on altitude.

How's the housing market in Arizona? What can you share with us regarding alternative green housing in your area? What kind of sustainable housing is available there at this point?

There is a lot that may interest you - Arizona State U has a school of sustainability that has been going strong.  I am going to list several sites that have information about Arizona activity -

info@SustainableArizona.org

Arizona green communities

Phoenix green homes.com

www.greenecocommunites.com/arizona/1.html

ArizonaSustainableCommunites     SC-AZ.org

In terms or movable homes - you are going to find this following site very interesting and amusing!

RollingStoneEco-CapsuleHome

inhabitat.com/mobile-rolling-stone-eco-capsule-home

There are a number of real estate brokers that work with homes that have been made 'greener" as well as new building that have been built that way originally.

That sort of brings something to mind - - improving insulation is recommended for energy conservation.  What is truly "green" insulation material?
