Food safety

Thread Starter

Is anyone here concerned over food safety?

It seems every week there is a new recall because of tainted

foods via E-coli, Salmonella, Listeria.

How many here can actually say they wash the outside of their

cantaloupes?

Yeah, we wash lettuce/tomatoes-etc because we're eating that

part but who washes bananas for instance?

It seems that the fda/usda just do the mop up work after the fact,

and not doing enough ahead of time to keep us from dieing from

toxins in our food chain.

Boiling water only kills bacteria. It does not remove lead, mercury nor dioxins. I just thought everyone should be reminded of this often overlooked fact by people who do not want to buy a good water filter system for their home.

how about the pus in milk because of Monsanto's Posilac? My family and I don't drink dairy, almond milk for us, but I have a hard time not swatting milk out of every child's hand if they are drinking it
