Translated Chinese Renewable Energy News

Thread Starter

Hi all,

I'm a Canadian who has been living in China for 6 years now.

I translate Chinese newspaper articles relating to energy and renewables.

I have to read all the articles to follow Chinese energy trends anyways, so I figured I should make better use of the time. It may help non-Chinese readers get some insight into the Chinese mainstream media and public opinions in these sectors.

I post them in my blog at

These are meant to give you an idea of what the Chinese media is saying, I just translate them, they do not represent my personal opinions.

some recent ones that may be interesting....

Thanks for sharing these... I'm particularly interested in the piece about thorium-based nuclear reactors... I may have to do some follow-up research on that.
