Recently, REACH legislation has Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) launch various campaigns to assess the product conformity of brands and retailers in the European Union.

NGOs have published reports disclosing the names of brands, products and retailers that have been found to have the dreaded Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) in their products.

The studies published by these NGOs perhaps shed light on the lack of awareness on the part of brands and retailers regarding their obligations under REACH legislation. The reputations of brands and retailers could thus be adversely affected in the light of NGO market reports and increased monitoring. (Source: REACH)

Have you heard of any brands/ companies mentioned within those reports? eek.gif
