I haven't had a chance to really investigate...but I saw a Honda commercial saying they were coming out w/ cheaper hybrids. Dropping the prices is going to be a huge move in the progression of people making the big change!! Yippie.

maybe it wasn't a commerical. maybe it was the ticker at the bottom of cnn headline news.

Yes Honda is releasing cheaper Hybrids and more models to choose from.

Nice.  Toyota is doing something similar with the 1/x.  Good to see some smaller hybrids in development.  Along with plug-ins, we should start to see some serious fuel efficiency when these come out.

Toyota is also supposedly releaseing a hybrid mini-van. they did so in japan in 2005, so we are slow to get our model, but hopefully this coming fall when they release all the new models. keeping fingers crossed. it wasn't until i got my mini-van that i noticed how many mini-vans there really are on the road. it's mind boggling. so having a hybrid option to buy when your older modle goes kaput, is a great thing.

Yeah, the Sienna hybrid.  I've been hearing about that for a while.  People were hoping they'd release it in the US last year, but obviously that didn't happen, so hopefully they'll bring it this year.
