WWF, the ecological PDF format

The reasoning is: if you save a document as. WWF the recipient can view but not print it on paper, ergo save the planet in dead trees. It is an idea of the World Wide Fund for Nature, to educate people and make in sending resumes, invitations, and other documents not required, paper is used unnecessarily.
Software installs a new option in the menu ("save as. wwf '). The document saved in this format, can be opened by any person as any other PDF document, except that you can not print.
For the moment runs only on Mac OS X although it has been announced for Windows too.

The intent of the WWF is certainly commendable, but I wonder how people will react to a format with limitations in functionality.

While our company (tonergreen) prides itself in providing earth-friendly remanufactured toner cartridges, it's definitely interesting to see how new technology is moving the common workplace towards a paperless work environment that will eventually make our product line, no matter how eco-friendly, obsolete.
