Countries today generate humungous amounts of municipal solid waste. What are the best methods to recycle and reuse these waste? It is critical that these are indeed reused, because landfills are overflowing, and secondly it is such an incredibly stupid way to waste...waste!
How are our cities handling these waste (some details here on how Indian cities are handling MSW)? How better can they handle them? I am curious to know.
Somehow, I am convinced that waste to value (energy, fertilizers, new products etc) will create billion dollar entrepreneurs. I know it is not as easy as it looks, with challenges in segregation, logistics and conversion processes...
