Up close and personal with the Vectrix electric scooter

Whether you want to call it a scooter or a motorcycle, the Vectrix is a pretty sweet electric machine.  I have yet to actually go anywhere on one but last night at SF Green, while Deej got to take pictures sitting in the Tesla, I got to get astride a Vectrix (which was turned on mind you).  Here are just a few pictures.  The rest are over on the Vectrix product page.

Dude I totally saw a guy riding a Vectrix in Sacramento today!  I was very excited.  Didn't get to watch for very long because I was going the opposite way on my bike, but it was still super cool.  Pretty blue color, too.

That's very cool.  I still haven't seen any zipping around San Francisco, but Adam Browning wrote about the Vectrix over on Grist a few weeks ago (which I just found today).  I guess he knows someone based in Berkeley (who works in SF) with a bike and they got to take a spin.  He seemed pretty impressed.

Nice.  Here's what the Vectrix I saw looked like.  I like the blue.
