One Worm's Poop is Another Man's Treasure

Terracycle is changing the world. They are out to become a zero waste company. Here's how. They do not buy virgin packaging for the worm tea, instead they rely on the public to sell them their used soda bottles. Terracycle then uses those soda bottles to package their home brewed worm tea. What is worm tea? Well it's the best worm poop fertilizer you'll ever use. And guess what? It's non-toxic. You can't burn your plants, you won't poison your soil. I've been a huge fan of Terracycle since this profile I read about them in 2006 - I'm thrilled they're still thriving.

Check it out, from Inc. Magazine

That is awesome!  I just read that profile on Terracycle.  Totally cool idea for a company, and I'd much rather use worm tea than commercial fertilizers!  This harkens back to my 5th grade days doing piddly science projects on vermicompost (compost with worms) compared to "regular" food waste compost.  The vermicompost was by far more effective.  So, maybe this worm tea is an easier, arguably less gross (not having to handle those worms...), and equally green way to go about feeding plants.  I'm sold.
