Symbols wiped away when cleaning Stainless Steel Kitchen Appliances

What to do when the Symbols have been wiped away when cleaning Stainless Steel Kitchen Appliances?

I have bought expensive stainless steel kitchen appliances and rented my house, the person living in it has cleaned away all the symbols on the hob, hood and dishwasher. I have been speaking to the shop and the advise is to buy new appliances. What would you do? I rent my house and people need to see the meaning of each button to use the appliance? Please give me advise, I don't want to buy new appliances.

I have no idea Mana - did you contact the actual manufacturing company? NOT the shop where you bought them.

Maybe you could get some little laminate stickers made. That's what I'd do - I for sure would not buy new appliances.

The manufacturer advise me to buy a new control panel @ £168b + cost of man to fit it.

I have made a picture in a frame left next to the appliance.
