Many folks are holding giveaways for Earth Day and being that we've got so many eco-friendly folks here I figured I'd post some of these for you...

HGTV GREEN HOME GIVEAWAY

In bling giveaways, the HGTV Annual Green Home Giveaway opens for entries on Friday, April 16, at 9 a.m. ET and runs through Friday, June 4, at 5 p.m. ET. This year this home is a charming, single-family cottage-style home located just eight miles north of Cape Cod. The eco-friendly home, located in Plymouth, Massachusetts, is part of the grand prize package valued at almost $800,000 that features a 2010 GMC Terrain and $100,000.

Viewers can get an insider's peek at the fully furnished, custom-designed home during the HGTV Green Home 2010 special, premiering on Sunday, April 18, at 8 p.m. ET. In addition, online users can see a photo gallery and a 360-degree virtual tour of the third annual HGTV Green Home at HGTV.

During the giveaway entry period, entrants may enter once per day on HGTV.com or as often as they wish by regular mail. Internet users can grab a sweepstakes entry widget for the HGTV Green Home Giveaway from Facebook.com/HGTV and place it on their Facebook pages and personal websites.

In honor of Earth Day, yubo is holding a contest asking eco-conscious kids to submit their favorite/best "Mother Earth" photos. They'll collect photo submissions and choose a winner and then create faceplates from the winning photos and offer them for sale as Mother Earth faceplate designs.

Net profits from the sale of the Mother Earth faceplates will go to the Earth Day Network. All entrants will receive $10 off any purchase at yubo and the winning entrant will receive $50. Entrants must be under the age of 11 in order to qualify to win. What: Photos will be judged based on originality, creativity, photo composition and how well the pictures answer the question: ‘What does Earth Day mean to you?’. Deadline for entry is 4/16/10.
