On Wednesday February 17th, a small plane crashed into power lines near Palo Alto, California, killing all three passengers on board. I recall that day. Facebook friends in the Palo Alto area were posting status updates about their power being out, traffic being snarled up all day as a result of the accident.
What I didn't hear for several days was that the people in the plane were prominent employees of Tesla Motors.
Doug Bourn, Brian Finn, and Andrew Ingram all worked together at Tesla and tragically lost their lives in this terrible accident. It is a blow to their families and the company they helped to build. My best wishes to their surviving loved ones and their coworkers.
