We’ve had two days of sunny skies here in Oregon which has put me in a spring minded mood, but I know a lot of people are still dealing with snow, so I figured I'd post something nature-minded and fun to do with all that icy stuff - make snow ice cream. I hadn't heard of this before but my friend Marye posted it over at Baking Delights and it sounds awesome. We don't get a lot of snow here, but if you do, your kids will love this idea.
Snow ice cream! It’s got heavy cream in it, which I'd switch to organic, plus because of the cow milk factor very little ones can't have this, but if your baby is over a year old you can let him have a taste. Toddlers and older kids will especially love this recipe because of the fun factor. You’ll love it because it’s easy and gets everyone who is cooped up inside, outside and busy for a bit.
I like the nature theme of this project too.
