Do men or women carry more green guilt?

I actually haven't given too much thought to green guilt because I try to focus on what I can do rather than doing it all. That said I do feel guilty about some things (like keeping Raid around because spiders terrify me) or liking paper books better than digital.
Recently pieces about green guilt have started popping up all over. I saw an article today that noted that women feel more green guilt then men and that women also engage in more green activities than males. It was a small sample, but I've seen other articles like this before.

At my green blogs I get way more comments from women then men, but I'm not sure that implies guilt, maybe just interest. In my real offline life I see way more women then men doing little things like carrying reusable bags but I've known more guys then women who are into green building issues. Of course that's just who I know though.

What do you think? In your world who seems to feel more guilty about green issues men or women? AND who seems to be more on board with green living?

Guilt : Men have read about it... women live with it.

example #1, sex : (BTW, us men are not responsible for the program that resides at the base of our brain-stem). We are programmed to cast our seed, without much additional thought, and then move on to our next project. It is entirely up to the women to deal with the full implications of the act. Us men are simply walking-talking-life-support systems for our _____.

example #2, environmental concerns : Men can overcome their limited ability to feel guilt (see #1), by applying deliberate & concientious effort. If we have the inclination to apply the intelligence normally reserved for acquiring #1 (our primary mission) to minimizing environmental impact, then perhaps there may be some hope for the planet's future.

Women can use #1 to influence men to #2. :)

I wonder if most guys would agree. Not being a guy I have no clue. I do know that I don't feel overly guilty... about green issues anyhow. I more feel compelled to do something, but not because of guilt, more because of my son. Kids are excellent green motivators in my experience.
