I have done some reading about Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) but havent seen too much of it, nor do I know many who have heard about it.  It is the philosophy that a manufacturer takes into account the entire lifecycle of product, including it's post consumer use phase.

Some examples include take-back systems, such as with printer toner or money back bottles.  But for the most part it hasnt taken off in the U.S., while it is the law in some European Countries.    Does anyone know of any U.S. companies that have adopted this concept?
