Conserving is the efficient use of resources.

If you care about conserving resources i.e.: energy, then it would be logical to use resources that produce energy the most efficient with the least impact on our environment.  This means that we need to eliminate hybrid battery cars.  The get energy from our grid - where does that energy come from?  How much does it cost when this product is expended via life or accident?  What impact does it have on our precious environment,?   Where do we put the wreck?  batteries?  How toxic is this for our life?  Stop me be for I cry.

How much does this cost in money - to our children?, our communities? and our precious non-corrupt benevolent loving rulers?

Lets conserve our money resources First.  Stop spending money on this stuff.  Wind is inefficient and visually unappealing.  What do you do at night with solar?  Stop the madness?

I have recently read about zero-energy homes (zero energy as in drawing zero energy from the grid), and i found it to be a very interesting idea. Let's hope the future will bring more new ideas in the energy-conserving matter.
