Reverse Trick-or-Treating launched three years ago by Global Exchange. It was made to create awareness about the pervasive problem of child labor, forced labor and trafficking in the cocoa fields and empowers consumers to choose Fair Trade cocoa and to advocate for more fair cocoa sourcing policies.

How Reverse Trick-or-Treating works:

You can order a Reverse Trick-or-Treating kit from Global Exchange that comes with samples of vegan-friendly, Fair Trade dark chocolate and a little card to educate people about poverty and child labor problems in the cocoa industry, how this is affecting mainstream candy, and how Fair Trade certified chocolate provides a solution.

On Halloween, your kids get to hand out these Fair Trade treats and cards to adults.

Reverse Trick-or-Treating kits are only $5 for consumers because of great Fair Trade chocolate partners…

Kit sell out fast so you’ll need to order asap.  Families must request a kit by October 13. If you don’t want or can’t get a kit, consider printing out some free flyers to hand out on or before Halloween.
