Weirdest products you've ever seen

So here on EcoHuddle, there's a Wiki about craziest green products.  The Butt Butt still cracks me up.  But what about other weird stuff, green or not?  I was in Bed Bath and Beyond the other day and they've got all sorts of stuff.  That also means they've got some weird stuff.

First, there's the Snuggie.  Has anyone else seen infomercials for these too?  Blankets with sleeves so you have free access to your hands without loosing your warmth.  I don't know....to me, they seem like reverse bath robes!  Is there something there I'm not getting?

There there are the Bumpits.  Those make me laugh a little too.  Cool, if you want more volume to your hair without having to tweeze.  But...I kind of think it makes this girl look like a cone head almost.

Maybe it's something with As Seen on TV products....

Have you guys seen any other funny ones out there?

I think those sky mall catalogs in airplanes are pretty hilarious...they're full of weird stuff. Some of it actually might be kind of useful and other stuff is just absurd. I saw some pretty weird stuff last time I was flying, but I'll have to try to remember what it all was. Something like a CD player that sorts your change at the same time.

I love the skymall catalogs! Better than a comic book and kill some boring time.

Never have bought anything from them in all my years of travel - generally overpriced useless junk.

No way!  How do they work? I mean...they're not really that complicated but I guess I just don't appreciate the concept fully.  Is it open like a hospital dressing gown in the back?

My favorite is the bump-it because it gives you that huge '80s hair.

Snuggie seems weird to me because it's just like a blanket with sleeves.  If I wanted sleeves I'd wear a robe, and if I wanted a blanket I'd use a blanket.

It is completely open in the back.  Dana has a point about the robe, but when you're lounging in the couch, sitting on a robe can be uncomfortable because you almost have to completely stand up if you want to move at all, otherwise it gets twisted or starts tugging on your shoulders.  That is where the snuggie comes in handy, but if you want to sit up, your back will get kind of cold.

The only thing missing is built in mittens, my fingers still get cold!

I'm on the snuggie fanpage. Love it
