Fiji Water Leaves Natives Perpetually Parched

The notion of bottled water being not so good after all is finally really starting to catch on -- from an environmental standpoint, it is inarguably one of the worst offenders.

Still, it can be challenging to make the connection between that seemingly innocuous pure refreshing fluid encased in its pristine plastic bottle and the havoc that is taking place under the surface.

This article might seriously make you rethink what you drink.

Why anyone wants to pay a premium for bottled water from far away has always escaped me.

Apparently the snob appeal is too good to pass up?

I wholeheartedly oppose Fiji bottled water. It seems absolutely ridiculous to drink bottled water from the other side of the world. HUGE transportation foot print. I did have to drink it once, and I have to admit, it also just doesn't even taste very good. We're pretty spoiled in the San Francisco Bay Area with our tap water (I think it tastes great) but Fiji water is just no good all around.
