I first learned about Michelle Kaufmann Designs (MKD) when I was researching the cross section between green building and prefab homes. I soon learned that MKD designs simple, elegant, and very sustainable. At West Coast Green 2007, MKD had the mkLotus house on exhibition - it was really fun to walk through it.
