Yesterday (December 12th, 2007), two Austrian companies STEYR MOTORS and Frauscher Bootswerft announced that their collaboration has produced something new: the Hybrid Propulsion System for pleasure boats. This hybrid system will result in quiet, zero emissions maneuvering at low speeds around harbors, among other things. Check out the press release.
