According to an article in TechCrunch, it looks like Tesla with its Roadster and Model S have just gotten some love from Daimler. Daimler has taken a 10% stake in Tesla with an agreement in the works to have Tesla help produce the first battery powered Mercedes-Benz in 2010 and roll out electric models of all their vehicles by 2012. Not to mention, it would seem Mercedes has already been testing out Tesla's batteries in 100 smart cars which are moving into limited production now. Pretty cool, huh?
