...the fully electric roadster (Dodge Circuit) will be released in 2010.  D'oh!

The Circuit will be a purely plug-in car - there will be no gas tank or gasoline engine at all - with an expected range of 150 to 200 miles on a full charge. Power will come from a 200 kilowatt, or 268 horsepower, electric motor.

This is rather disappointing because the other options were range extened Jeeps and a minivan, which a lot of people are waiting for.  The Circuit is cool, but it's just another Tesla competitor which will probably be priced slightly lower than the Roadster, and probably won't sell more than a few thousand.  The Jeep and minivan, which will be released later, would have sold much better.  But perhaps they're taking longer to develop.  The Circuit is the safe choice because it's a niche market and they don't have to worry about keeping the price low.
