I will be walking in the March for Babies on the 2ND of May for the March of Dimes. I am looking for people to help me raise money by making a small donation and becoming sponsors. I've joined March for Babies because the March of Dimes champions the needs of moms and babies in our community and across the nation. The money we raise for March for Babies will help:
- support all-important research offering preventions and solutions for babies born too soon or with birth defects
- educate women on things they can do to increase their chances of having a healthy baby
- provide comfort and information to families with a newborn in intensive care
- push for newborn screening and health insurance for all pregnant women and children

On a personal note,
I am the mother of 3 wonderful children. The last born 4 weeks early, and because of my wonderful Doctors, and the work the March of Dimes does, she is a health happy 2 year old. I am now pregnant with my 4th baby, and she has the same problems my last one had. 20 years ago they would have only had a 60% chance of survival, but today with all the research and work of groups like The March of Dime they have a 95% chance of making it.
