Last night I went up to Fairfax, CA to the headquarters of Earthsite to the Green Festival TV Launch Party.
For those of you who haven't heard of Green Festival, it's put on every year in San Francisco, Seattle, Denver, Washington DC, and Chicago.
This comes from the Green Festivals website:
Welcome to Green Festival™, a joint project of Global Exchange and Green America. We’re celebrating what’s working in our communities—for people, business and the environment. Join us at the nation’s premier sustainability event in San Francisco for 3 days filled with the best in green!
> 125 renowned authors, leaders & educators
> 350 eco-friendly businesses in a unique marketplace
> Workshops, green films, kids’ activities, live music & more
> Delicious, organic, vegetarian cuisine
Now, even if you're not in one of those cities (or if you missed the festival when it passed by), you can still take advantage of some amazing speakers and partners through the interviews on Green Festival TV and Radio. Interviews include William McDonough, Van Jones, Majora Carter, and Deepak Chopra.
As Kevin Danaher, co-founder of Global Exchange, said last night...this is a green revolution. And now people from all over the world can experience a little bit of Green Festival at any time.
