My apologies first, if this gets too political! This post is not meant to be, but I was wondering which cities should invest in Green with this new stimulus package President Obama has recently released.

With $6.3B going towards energy-efficiency grants and L.A. is changing 140,000 street lights to LEDS in a 5-year period with the help of the Bill Clinton charitable foundation - I was thinking what other cities need a c"green lift"?

In my opinion and doing a lot of research on LED lighting, it's not energy-efficient compared to Induction lighting. But I do admit LEDs are more stylish and do save over time, but the technology is still too expensive. But L.A is a city where it thrives on style - so I guess LEDs fits them.

I believe the March 09' issue of National Geographic did a small article comparing light bulbs with LEDs.

But what other cities need a lift of "green"?
