I got very very tired of my propane company ripping me off with propane products. Three years ago I experimented with suntwin and edenpure heaters. What a great decision! I have cut my propane bill in half. My house is a large two story structure with two gas furnaces. I now leave my upstairs thermostat at 55 degrees and rarely move it off that set. We sleep at night with a 500 watt edenpure heater and it keeps the room very warm. Downstairs my thermostat is on a timer and it kicks on a few minutes before I wake up, off a few minutes before I go to work, and a few minutes before I get home. I leave it at 65 and use the large suntwin heater to heat our family room. This unit is a large 1500 watt unit. Altogether, I only raised my electric bill by about 20.00 a month over a very very cold Illinois winter. I estimate that I have saved to point, 800 gallons of propane! Wow!

I booted my propane company! They were a major rip off! They "leased" me a tank, charged me to contract with them, and would charge me the maximum amount allowed by our contract. When they were local they were good to deal with but now, they got so big with no one even in the local office. My new company will now fill for HALF the coast of last year!!!
With the Sun Twin and Edenpure heaters, my solar array, and my new propane company, I should have a much more reasonable winter.
