Zia Skin Basics Everyday Moisturizer

Posted

Pros: pretty gentle, absorbs just fine

Cons: rated 4 on Cosmetics Database

I was running low on moisturizer so I picked up some of this at Whole Foods a while back.  The Zia Skin Basics Everyday Moisturizer is just that...an everyday moisturizer.  It's nothing fancy.  Doesn't smell like much.  But it does the job more or less.  It's pretty light moisturizer so you don't feel sticky or like you've got a thick layer of gunk on your face.  It's also paraben free but a couple of ingredients like hexylene glycol and rice bran oil bump it up to a 4 on Cosmetics Database (not that that's the be all, end all of safety ratings).  All in all, it works just fine.  Nothing to write home about.  But it works.  I won't necessarily seek it out to buy again....but if I found it and needed a moisturizer, it would suffice.
