Pros: easy to install and connect
Cons: doesn't produce much power
Even iin higher winds, it didn't produce significant power, although it responded well in lower winds. When connected along with other products, such as solar panels, it doesn't produce after the panels are producing a higher charging rate. A panel of 300 watts produces more charging power than this unit. My panels produce over 12 amps of charging power.
It is produced in China, so there is no technical or parts support, no warranty of any kind. When something quits, the only choice is to replace the turbine or the controller, no one at Windmax knows enough to separate the faulty unit from the other. Their advice is to replace one or the other to try to elimate the problem.
