Santa Cruz Organic Fruit Sauces are a great organic fruit sauce product. They come in many flavors but we tried the organic apple blackberry, apple cinnamon, apple apricot, and apple raspberry.

NOTE: Above it says these are $3, but they're actually easy to find on sale for about $2.50. However, the review price only allows whole numbers, hence the $3.

Each fruit sauce starts with a USDA organic apple base and then the base is mixed with additions of pureed organic fruits like blackberries, cherries, strawberries and apricots. Some sauces have extras like cinnamon and spices as well.

INGREDIENTS: Vary depending on flavor. Each sauce contains all organic fruit, organic juice concentrate, and nothing you can’t pronounce or understand. Each 4oz serving offers 100% of your daily value of vitamin C. Fruit sauces are sugar free, fake color free, and there’s no pesticides either.
 

PACKAGING: Available in 23oz glass jars or snack pack sizes of 6 4oz cups - the snack cups are packaged for easy recycling, but it's still a bigger waste of resources than the jar.

Cedar, my son is ultra picky but loved the Apple Apricot flavor. My best friend's little girl loved all the flavors. I usually hate applesauce (LONG story) but I really liked these fruit sauces. My favorite was the Apple Blackberry which in my opinion was the perfect mix of apple with a touch of blackberry - not too sweet but perfect! I did think the Apple Raspberry was a little too sweet, but everyone else liked it. I also don't usually like applesauce with cinnamon, because companies always seem to add a truckload of it. However, this Santa Cruz Apple Cinnamon was a perfect balance of apple and spice. 

All the flavors had an amazing fresh picked apple taste as the base and flavors also tasted good warm or cold. 

The texture was perfect - not too thick or chunky and not too much like baby food puree (blah), although there are no chunks so a baby would love this. Some of the sauces had some color to them which most kids will find fun over basic applesauce.

These are well priced and healthy fruit sauces and we'll for sure be buying them again.
