Philips F32T8 Alto Collection Fluorescent Tube

Posted

Pros: Instant on, bright, use less energy than T40s

Cons: None so far...

Replaced my T12 (40w) bulbs and fixtures in my game room and garage with these. At only 32w per bulb, I am saving a great deal of energy over the older style considering how much these bulbs are on. The tubes are instant on unlike the old T12s that had lots of initial flicker. The kind I chose have a good warm kelvin / color. They seem to put out as many lumens as the 40w bulbs. Overall, a good buy and a good product.

These are also from the Alto Collection, so they have a significantly reduced level of mercury compared to the older tubes.
