Pros: 100% organic cotton
Cons: price is high if not bought in bulk
When I became pregnant, I decided I wanted to change my lifestyle around and try to live greener and raise my daughter greener. After I gave birth, I began to use these and they are wonderful alternative to those who want to live green but are not ready to start using a Divacup. I will never go back to Tampax Pearl; I don't know what I was thinking using them, what a waste. I use the non-applicator tampons because less waste which I found are very easy to insert.
They are a little pricey if you buy the box by itself but if you buy in bulk you can save a lot of money and you won't have to purchase any for about a year. It's 12 boxes of 20 tampons each = 240 tampons for $56. average price is about 23 cents a tampon.
