Pros: It cleans the dishes sometimes
Cons: There may not be enough room, multiple breakdowns, heat element had to be replaced could cause a fire, front door leaks, multiple service calls 5+
We have had this dishwasher for several years. We bought a Maytag because we had heard how reliable they are! We have had to have it serviced more than 5 times, the heating element had to be replaced because it could start a fire. I didn't receive a notification about this I just happened to find it on the internet. The bottom water spinner got off balance & had to be replaced. The door has leaked numerous times & the seal has been replaced. The rack started rusting just after 1 year. Now the upper rack water dispenser is off balance & is knocking against the upper rack causing the vinyl to break thus causing the rack to rust & the door is leaking again so another service call!
This is not the only Maytag appliance we have, we also have a Clothes washer & dryer, an over the range microwave & a stove. All have had problems I will not buy another Maytag appliance
